Privacy

This page describes what the site actually does, not what a generic template says it might do.

There are no accounts

You cannot create an account here, because there is no account system. We do not ask for your email, and there is no login, newsletter signup or profile. Nothing you do on this site is associated with an identity, because we do not have one for you.

Your finder answers never leave your browser

The opportunity finder runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not transmitted to us or to anyone else, not stored on a server, and not logged.

This includes the question about adult-adjacent opportunities. That answer is never sent anywhere and is never recorded against you in any form.

If you share a results URL, your answers are encoded in that link. That is the only way they can travel, and it happens only if you deliberately copy and share the address.

Analytics

We measure how the site is used in aggregate — how many people start the finder, which opportunities get opened, which outbound links get clicked. This tells us which pages are worth improving.

The measurement is designed so that it records events, not people. It sets no tracking cookie, assigns no persistent identifier, collects no personal data, and never includes your finder answers or any free text.

At present no third-party analytics provider is connected at all. If one is added, it will be a cookieless, privacy-respecting provider, and this page will be updated to name it before it goes live.

Outbound links

When you click through to a platform, you leave this site and that platform's own privacy policy applies. We have no visibility into what you do there. If a link is monetized, the destination may know the visit came from us — that is how affiliate attribution works, and it is disclosed on our affiliate disclosure page.

What we never do

Server logs

This is a static site served by a hosting provider, which will keep standard request logs including IP addresses for operational and security purposes. That is a function of how the web works rather than a choice we make about you, and we do not use those logs to identify or profile visitors.

Changes

If what we collect changes, this page changes first. It is meant to describe reality, and it is kept in the same source control as the site itself.
